ED Raids at Siddhartha College Linked to Home Minister G Parameshwara
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at Siddhartha Institute of Technology and Siddhartha Medical College in Tumakuru as part of an ongoing investigation. These institutions are reportedly owned by Home Minister G Parameshwara. The operation began around 9:30 AM today, with five teams involved in the raids.

ED officials arrived in five vehicles to carry out the operation. The raids primarily focused on financial records and alleged irregularities related to the management and funding of the colleges. The ED stated that the investigation aims to uncover any potential violations of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
Reports indicate that the probe is part of a broader investigation into financial dealings linked to these colleges and political figures.
At Siddhartha Engineering College, only students presenting valid ID cards are permitted entry, with strict access restrictions enforced for all others.
Neither of the colleges has issued an official statement yet.
Further updates are awaited as the probe progresses.
