Eco friendly Deepavali at Kaudenahalli lake

Bengaluru, Oct 25: This year Deepavali will be celebrated in an eco-friendly manner.
The United Way Bengaluru, KR Pura Kere Mattu Parisara Samrakshana Trust and the BBMP will conduct the 'Kere Deepotsava', an eco-friendly celebration of Deepavali.

The highlight of the event will be the interaction and engagement with the community members who are the custodians of the Kaudenahalli lake, ITI, Colony, K R Puram, Bengaluru.
The event will be held at the Kaudenahalli Lake on Wednesday, 26th October, 2016 between 4 PM and 6 PM.
The event is expected to be a treat to one's senses, will see the lake periphery be lit with an array of lamps.
The the air will be perfumed with the burning of organic and blended essential oils which will be used in the earthen diyas. Apart from this there would cultural festivities, discussions.
