E-Khata Final Available Online Within Two Days, No Need to Visit BBMP Offices

E-Khata has now become mandatory for property transactions, including sale, purchase, and other related activities in Bengaluru. It is available at Bangalore One centers, and the BBMP has implemented various measures to expedite the process. However, due to certain challenges, there have been delays in issuing e-Khata. In light of this, BBMP Special Commissioner Munish Moudgil has shared positive news, stating that citizens can now receive their e-Khata within two days of submitting their application.

E-Khata Final Available Online Within Two Days No Need to Visit BBMP Offices

Munish Moudgil, the BBMP Special Commissioner (Revenue), explained that residents within the BBMP jurisdiction can get their final e-Khata in just two days after applying. Applicants can submit their details on the official BBMP website, bbmpeaasthi.karnataka.gov.in, eliminating the need to visit BBMP offices. The Assistant Revenue Officers (AROs) and case workers will review applications within the designated time frame and take necessary actions.

So far, out of approximately 2.9 lakh applications received, 2.7 lakh e-Khata have already been issued. All Assistant Revenue Officer offices are fully prepared to review and act on the pending applications, which will be resolved within a day. The number of applicants is steadily increasing, with daily virtual meetings being held with the eight zones and 64 Assistant Revenue Officers under BBMP jurisdiction to ensure the smooth issuance of e-Khatas.
