Darshan's Shocking Confession: He Cashed Out Rs 30 Lakhs To Erase Renuka Swamy Murder

Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, accused in the Renuka Swamy murder case, has made a shocking revelation. He has confessed that he paid Rs 30 lakhs to accused Pradosh to cover up the case, dispose of the body, and ensure his name was not linked to the crime. However, Darshan, the 'Challenging star' denied any involvement in the brutal murder of Renuka Swamy, a devoted fan who was allegedly killed for sending lewd messages to his close friend and girlfriend, Kannada actress Pavithra Gowda.

According to police investigation, Pradosh received Rs 30 lakhs from Darshan to cover expenses, including paying off three to four men to take the blame for the murder. Darshan's involvement in the case has been confirmed through CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts.

Darshan's Blue Jeans and Other Evidence Seized by Police from Vijayalakshmi's house

The investigation team is collecting scientific evidence to prove Darshan's involvement. They have confiscated several items from Darshan's wife Vijayalakshmi's house and a flat in Hoskarehalli apartment, including clothes he wore on the night of June 8. The items seized include blue jeans by True Religion, a black round t-shirt by Opium Valley Company, and shoes from Lopores company.

The accused used a rope, a stick, and a Megger device to torture the victim Renuka Swamy in the Pattagere shed. Dhanraj alias Raju gave an electric shock to him, which was then kept in the shed's security room. The CCTV footage of the incident has been seized.

Dhanraj also recorded the assault on his mobile phone, although the data has been deleted. The investigation team is working to retrieve this data. The accused took gold jewelry and a watch from Renuka Swamy's body, which were later recovered by police.

ACP Vijayanagar is leading the investigation, with a special team formed under him consisting of various inspectors, sub-inspectors, and other staff members.
