Darshan In More Trouble: Fans Unite As Actor Faces Murder Charges

Sandalwood actor Darshan, known for both his acting and involvement in controversies, is now embroiled in a serious legal matter. He has been allegedly accused in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Renuka Swamy, who allegedly sent obscene messages to Darshan's close friend, Pavithra Gowda. It is speculated that Darshan could face severe penalties if found guilty of charges related to murder, kidnapping, and tampering with evidence.

It must be noted that the murder case involving Renuka Swamy has taken a new twist with the arrest of Raghavendra, alias Raghu Darshan, the district president of Darshan's fans association, in connection with the same case. Raghavendra's arrest comes after actor Darshan and actress Pavitra Gowda were arrested in the murder case.

Police investigations suggest that Darshan sought Raghavendra's help to transport Renukaswamy from Chitradurga to Bengaluru. Renukaswamy was allegedly assaulted on June 8 by Darshan's associates after he sent obscene messages to Pavitra Gowda. His body was found near Rajakaluve in Sumanahalli the next day.

Renukaswamy had married Sahana on June 28, 2023, and they were about to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Sahana, who is five months pregnant, has not been informed about her husband's death yet. Her family has told her that he is in the hospital receiving treatment, fearing the impact of the news on her pregnancy.

However, this news did not go well with Darshan fans. They rallied in support of him, and soon, "DBoss" started trending on Twitter (formerly known as X).

However some were poured support to the victim's family:
