Couple killed on spot as car rams into tree

Bangalore, Oct 23: An aged couple-Gopalakrishna (60) and Parimala (55)-died on the spot when their car rammed into a tree near the Talalur Gate in Arsikere taluk, Hassan.

They were returning to their native after attending a funeral at Holenarsipur when the mishap happened. Gopalakrishna lost control of wheels and hit the tree. While he died on the spot, Parimala died on the way to hospital. A case has been registered at Arsikere rural police station.
