CMCA, Bangalore Traffic Police hold unique road-safety programme
Bangalore, April 26: The Children's Movement for Civic Awareness (CMCA) and Bangalore Traffic Police held their maiden Positive Strokes Junction event at Arts & Crafts / MG Road Metro station sidewalk junction on Saturday.
B Dayananda, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic and Bhaskar Bhat, MD, Titan Company Ltd. The duo flagged off the event. CMCA Director Dr Manjunath Sadashiva was also present.
The event was organised as part of Positive Strokes, a road-safety programme encouraging good road behaviour. The drive was conducted in four quarterly campaigns beginning April 5.
In his address B Dayananda said: "We want to encourage people who follow traffic rules, and we are here to appreciate them. The traffic management centre is open to volunteers. If you want to contribute you are welcome. I would lik to thank CMCA and Fastrack for being a part of this initiative."

The even also saw a short presentation in which the honourable guests handed over a few commendations to prescreened vehicle owners who were identified as good road users.
