Chidambaram: If Cong wins, certain that Rahul Gandhi will be PM

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Chidambaram said that India is likely to grow at about 5 per cent in current fiscal and in the next fiscal, we will cross 6 per cent.
Talking about Congress's performance in the Lok Sabha elections he said: "Whether Congress will be called to form the government will depend on the outcome of national elections."

Attacking the BJP he said: "BJP is a party that has a blood-eyed economics model. BJP is not represented by all sections. Modi has never fielded any Muslim candidate," he alleged.
Last week at the AICC meet in the capital, Chidambaram has suggested that the Congress party must field candidates below the age of 35 in a few constituencies in the Lok Sabha Elections, a statement that was welcomed by many.
