Cauvery Water Supply Cut In Bengaluru Today: Check Affected Areas

To supply Cauvery drinking water to the 110 villages under BBMP's jurisdiction, pipeline connection is being carried out from the water treatment plant at GKVK campus to the AMRUT pipeline.

As a result, on October 19, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, there will be disruptions in the supply of Cauvery drinking water in the following areas, according to a release from Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) Chairman, Dr. V. Ram Prasath Manohar.

Areas affected by the disruption in Cauvery drinking water supply:

Raju Colony, Sarvodaya Nagar, Ibrahim Street (from 1st to 9th Road), Noble School (1st and 2nd Cross), Noor Layout, Shampura Railway Gate (1st and 2nd Cross), Vyalikaval Layout (from 1st to 9th Main Road), Sandhyappa Layout (from 1st to 3rd Cross), Veeranna Palya, Narayanaswamy Layout, Railway Gate, Vyalikaval Layout (from 10th to 16th Cross), Prakruthi Layout, Gunduthopu, Oil Mill Road (from 1st to 15th Cross - Lower section), from 16th to 18th Cross (Upper section of 1st to 15th Cross), 3rd Block Service Road, HRBR Layout, RS Palya, Sadashiva Temple Road, Sathyamurthy Road, Oil Mill Road, KHB Quarters, Gurumurthy Road, and surrounding areas.

Ram Prasath Manohar, Chairman of the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has requested the public to cooperate with the board and store necessary water in advance.
