Polling ink on left thumb
The indelible ink, used after polling, will be put on the voters' left thumb in Karnataka during this Lok Sabha election.
The decision was taken after considering the fact that many people have cast their votes in the local polls held in certain parts of the state recently and have still ink mark on their index fingers. The Election Commission gave its nod, Jha said.
