Bangalore, Feb 11: The Telangana question is at a crucial crossroad now. The Union Cabinet passed the Telangana bill in a special meeting and it was supposed to be tabled in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. However, late on Monday night, the Centre changed its plan in the face of protests and would table the bill in the Lok Sabha on Thursday, February 13.
The Union cabinet also decided in its special meeting that Hyderabad would not be made a Union Territory and a joint capital for 10 years.
