Bangalore, Feb 19: The much-awaited Telangana bill was passed with voice votes in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. The BJP supported the bill but also slammed the Congress-led ruling coalition for stopping the live telecasting of the proceedings in the Lower House while proceedings were taking place. The bill was set to be tabled in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.
