B'lore: Youth attempts suicide outside Siddaramaiah's residence

The youth, Basavaraju, had come to Bangalore to seek financial help from Siddaramaiah. He has been sufferring from a disease, which he says that the doctors refuse to tell him. He reached the CM's residence and wished to meet him but officials refused an appointment with Siddaramaiah and sent him back, asking him to get his medical records.
Dejected that he could not meet the CM, he allegedly consumed sleeping pills outside the CM's house. In his suicide note, he wrote that he was sufferring from an unknown disease, the police said.
He also said he was under financial stress as he was in debt and the lenders demanded repayment of loans he availed from them.
He was rushed to hospital, where he is recuperating, they said.
