BJP MP drags Congress Minister into Rudresh murder
The BJP leader urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to drop Baig from the cabinet immediately and order a probe against him
BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje on Friday kicked up a storm after she accused Karnataka Minister Roshan Baig for RSS worker Rudresh's murder. Speaking to regional channels in Bengaluru the Udupi-Chikmagalur MP said that Roshan Baig got Rudresh murdered. "We have information from the police department that Roshan Baig got Rudresh killed. It was Roshan Baig who engaged contract killers to eliminate Rudresh as he was growing in popularity", said the BJP leader.

While making serious allegations against Karnataka's information, infrastructure and Haj committee minister, Shobha said that the state police was under immense pressure and hence should not be allowed to continue to probe the murder case, "We don't trust the government. The police are under immense political pressure. Let the CBI or NIA investigate this case".

The BJP leader urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to drop Baig from the cabinet immediately and order a probe against him. Baig, in whose constituency Rudresh was murdered, however rubbished all allegations and called it a political gimmick by BJP.
The BJP has decided to express its anger over the killings of sangh parivar members by protesting on November 8. Senior leaders of the BJP will call for a statewide bandh against killings of sangh parivar members in Karnataka.
