The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) has mandated the immediate closure of Bigg Boss Kannada's studio Bidadi Bengaluru South. This decision follows significant breaches of environmental laws by Vels Studios and Entertainment Pvt Ltd, also known as Jolly Wood Studios & Adventures. The notice was issued on October 6, demanding an immediate halt to all activities at the location.

According to the KSPCB, the studio operations were conducted without obtaining necessary permissions under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The board stated, "The said premises are being used for large-scale entertainment and studio operations without obtaining the required Consent for Establishment and Consent for Operation."

The notice further instructed Vels Studios to cease operations immediately and provide an explanation within a specified timeframe. Failure to adhere to this directive could result in legal consequences under applicable environmental regulations. Copies of this order have been dispatched to relevant authorities to ensure enforcement.

The Deputy Commissioner of Ramanagara District, along with officials from BESCOM and Ramanagara Taluk's electrical department, received copies of the closure order. This ensures coordination among various departments in implementing the shutdown effectively.
