Bengaluru Water Crisis: Here's What Namma Bangalore People Say On Social Media
Bengaluru Water Crisis: With every passing day, the lives of millions of people residing in Bangalore are becoming difficult due to water shortage. The situation is worsening as alternative options for using treated and recycled water are insufficient for the metropolitan city. However, the government is taking every possible step to monitor the equal distribution of water including the overtaking of private water tankers, sealing bore-wells, and creating awareness among people to reuse water in odd jobs like cleaning, mopping, and car washing.
A few residents' associations have also requested people to bathe with a half-bucket of water to save water.

According to the data available on the internet, Bengaluru requires 2,600 to 2,800 million liters of water per day and currently, it is short by 1500 MLD.
The state government has declared 223 Taluks out of 236 as drought-hit, including 219 that facing severe consequences.
