Bengaluru To Face Scheduled Power Cuts On June 29. See List Of Affected Areas Here
Several parts of Bengaluru will experience power outages on Sunday, 29 June, due to scheduled maintenance work, according to the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM), as reported by The Hindu.
The interruptions are expected to occur mainly between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm, with some areas possibly facing outages lasting up to seven hours.

BESCOM is carrying out routine quarterly maintenance at the 66/11 kilovolt (kV) A station, which is anticipated to impact supply in certain localities.
The agency typically schedules such outages over weekends when the overall electricity demand is lower, as many people are off work.
Areas likely to be affected:
In an official statement, BESCOM indicated that the following areas may experience disruptions:
Seshadri Road, Kurubara Sangha Circle, 1st Main Road, Gandhi Nagar 1st Cross, parts of 2nd Cross, Crescent Road, Seshadripuram, Vinayaka Circle, Kempegowda Road, Tank Bund Road, Subedar Chatram Road, Lakshmanpuri Slum Area, Cubbonpet, Anand Rao Circle, Race Course Road, Chalukya Circle, High Grounds, Malleswaram, and parts of Seshadripuram.

These include tree pruning, replacing overhead lines with underground cables, supporting the Jalasiri 24x7 water supply project, reconductoring high-tension (HT) lines, servicing Ring Main Units (RMUs), repairing and upgrading HT connections, and undertaking general system enhancements and repairs.
