Bengaluru To Ayodhya Train: Check Fares, Train Timings And More
The Indian Railways is planning to start 11 special trains from different parts of the state to Ayodhya starting from February. This move comes in anticipation of the increased influx of pilgrims expected after the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
According to reports, three of these trains will originate from Bengaluru, while Hubbali, Mysuru, and Mangaluru will each see two trains departing, and Shivamogga and Belgaum will each have one.

It must be noted that Yeshwanthpur Junction serves as the primary departure point for several trains connecting Bengaluru to Ayodhya Junction, making this route one of the busiest in the Indian railway network due to high travel demand.
The operation of these trains to Ayodhya will be managed by IRCTC, and ticket bookings will exclusively be available online. Notably, these are not ordinary trains, and counter ticket issuance will not be an option. Reports further said that last-minute bookings will not be permitted.
With the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya scheduled for January 22, the trains are anticipated to commence operations within a month. Concurrently, the Railways is actively engaged in the refurbishment of the yards at Ayodhya Dham, Ayodhya Cantonment, and Salarpur stations. As a result, two trains bound for Bangalore from these locations have been temporarily diverted. The reconstruction of yards is expected to be completed shortly.
Following the launch of trains to Ayodhya, sources indicate that IRCTC will discontinue the Karnataka Bharat Gaurav Yatra trains.
