Bengaluru: Thousands of fish found dead in Ulsoor lake
Bengaluru, March 7: Thousand of dead fish washed ashoor of Ulsoor Lake due to rising water pollution on Monday, March 7 in Bengaluru. It seems Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board(BWSSB) and Brahut Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) failed to clean up the badly polluted lake.
Ulsoor Lake is one of oldest famous boating site which is now in brink of death. It could be observed that Ulsoor lake is always on headline for pollutated thick froth floting around the lake. Still government has failed handle the ailing situation of lake.
Early morning residents of city shocked to see thousand dead fish floating and washed ashore. V Purushottam, President,Ulsoor Welfare Society said to media that "bandh that was separating sewage water from flowing into the lake broke about two-years back."
