Bengaluru, May 22: Days after the II Pre-University Board results were announced in Karnataka, hundreds of students protested in Bengaluru against discrepancies in the results.

Many students alleged that the evaluation process was not proper specially in Science subjects since many distinction students did not clear them. The subjects in question are Mathematics and Physics.

Many students fear that the discrepancies in the results will affect their chances of writing the CET exam and demanded that the CET results be postponed.

PUC is the qualifying exam for CET. The Board however buckled under the pressure and postponed the date for the CET result.

Meanwhile, the PU Department had earlier refused to postpone the CET results saying that it will not affect the CET results. The Board said that those who have any doubts with respect to the PU results could apply for revaluation.

Many students and parents met the PU Director but the Board refused to budge from its stand.
