Bengaluru Shocker: Woman Wakes Up To Find Friend's Brutally Murdered Body In Her Flat, Victim's Husband Held

In a tragic incident that unfolded in Bengaluru's Vishweshwaraiah Layout, Kengeri, a woman named Aishwarya, who had spent the previous night consoling her close friend B Navyashree, woke up to a nightmare she could never have imagined.

The morning after a night of emotional support and empathy, Aishwarya found herself lying next to Navyashree, whose throat had been brutally slit.

The mattress was soaked in blood, and the chilling reality of what had happened left Aishwarya in shock and disbelief.

Aishwarya, who works at a real estate firm in RR Nagar, had known Navyashree since childhood, reported Times of India.

The two women, originally from Bhadravati in Shivamogga district, had shared a deep bond that had lasted through the years. Navyashree, 28, was a choreographer, while her husband, A Kiran, 31, worked as a cab driver.

The couple had fallen in love and married despite strong opposition from their families. However, over the past year, their relationship had soured, with frequent arguments and growing tension between them.

Kiran's insecurities had escalated as he became increasingly uncomfortable with Navyashree's profession and social status.

"Kiran wanted Navyashree to change her profession, but she didn't agree to it. He also suspected her fidelity and often fought with her. Kiran used to regularly check Navyashree's mobile phone, which irritated her," a police officer informed.

The friction between the couple reached a boiling point on Tuesday night when Navyashree invited Aishwarya over to her home, seeking comfort and advice.

Both women went to RR Nagar, where they met Navyashree's friend, Sunil. He suggested that Navyashree should approach the police for help with her marital issues.

After their meeting, Aishwarya decided to stay the night at Navyashree's house to keep her company. The two women had beer together before Kiran joined them for dinner. However, tensions flared once again, leading to a heated argument between Navyashree and Kiran.

"Aishwarya had to intervene when Kiran tried to attack Navyashree as the husband-wife duo had a fight," the police said.

Around midnight, the two friends went to sleep in one room, while Kiran retired to another. But when Aishwarya woke up the next morning, she was met with an unimaginable horror.

Feeling an unsettling dampness in the bed, she opened her eyes to find the mattress drenched in blood, and Navyashree lying dead beside her.

In a state of panic, Aishwarya screamed, alerting the neighbors, who rushed in to find her in shock. "I never thought my friend would be lying dead next to me," Aishwarya reportedly told the police.

By the time the neighbors called the police control room, Kiran had fled the house. However, the police quickly identified him as the prime suspect in his wife's murder and launched a manhunt.

Kiran was later apprehended and taken into custody. The horrifying incident has left the community reeling, as the details of Navyashree's tragic death continue to emerge.
