Bengaluru Schools Bomb Threat Email Origin Traced To Czech Republic Or Slovakia
Bengaluru recently witnessed a wave of chaos and apprehension across 68 educational institutions following a series of hoax bomb-threat emails originating from [email protected]. Promptly responding to the alarming situation, the police undertook swift measures, later confirming that the threats were indeed a hoax after a comprehensive security check.
Preliminary investigations into the source of these distressing emails have pointed towards a origin in either the Czech Republic or Slovakia, raising concerns about the global reach of such malicious acts.

City Police Commissioner B. Dayananda appealed to parents, guardians, and educators to remain composed in the face of such alarming messages, urging against succumbing to panic.
This disconcerting incident marks the third occurrence of school-related threat emails within Bengaluru over the past year. As authorities delve deeper into this issue, anti-sabotage units have been deployed across the city to meticulously examine all educational institutions, ensuring heightened security measures.
This incident, however, isn't an isolated occurrence. Bengaluru has grappled with several instances of false bomb threats in recent times, presenting a disturbing trend of malicious activities.
A Recap of Recent Fake Bomb Threat Cases in Bengaluru:
City Civil Court Bomb Threat in January: An individual, Sunil, previously embroiled in a case at Kadugodi police station, made a false bomb threat call to the City Civil Court. Upon investigation, it was revealed that Sunil resorted to this alarming act due to frustration with court proceedings.
Hoax Bomb Threats to Schools in January: On January 6, a minor student sent an email to private schools mentioning gelatin sticks, causing panic. Subsequent police investigation unveiled the minor's involvement.
IT Company's Encounter with Fake Bomb Threats: In June, Navneet, engaged in a dispute with a team leader, falsely threatened to bomb the IBDO company in Ecospace, Bellandur. Navneet's motive stemmed from personal discord.
Shivaji Nagar Masjid False Bomb Threat: A deceptive call reporting a bomb in the mosque was made in July. Investigations led to the revelation that the caller, Buddhi Kaliso, fabricated the threat due to personal grievances.
Miscreants Target Prestigious Hotel with Fake Threat: In August, a prestigious hotel faced a similar threat via email, demanding 1000 Euros to avoid a supposed bombing. The culprit, using the email [email protected], remains unidentified.
In the latest incident, 60 schools received hoax bomb threat emails, indicating a disturbing pattern of similar attacks. These emails, routed through beeble.com, have instigated a thorough investigation by city police to ensure swift action against such malevolent acts.
