Bengaluru's Rs 152 crore raid- Official fails to furnish surety, back in jail
Despite court granting him a bail, Jayachandra was not able to walk out free
H C Jayachandra, a government official who was arrested for possessing illegal wealth was sent back to judicial custody since he couldn't produce surety. A special CBI court in Bengaluru gave bail to the accused but sent him to judicial custody for a day for failing to fulfil the bail conditions.
The special CBI court in Bengaluru gave the now suspended officer interim bail till December 22. As part of the bail condition, Jayachandra was to furnish a surety and also a bond of the like sum. Since he failed to fulfil the bail conditions at the time of the court's rising, the judge sent him to judicial custody for a day.

H C Jayachandra was arrested following an income tax raid in Bengaluru in which Rs 152 crore worth assets was seized.
