Bengaluru Robbery On CCTV: Thieves Smash Car Windows On Busy 100ft Road, Steal Bags, Valuables In Plain Sight
A brazen theft has left residents of Bengaluru's Indiranagar area shaken, as four cars were targeted by thieves on the 100ft road near the Global Desi store and Westside on August 22. The incident, which occurred around 7:30 PM, left many, including one of the victims, reeling from the sudden loss.
According to eyewitnesses, the thieves, who appeared to be well-coordinated, used a special device to silently shatter the windows of the four cars, making off with three bags containing laptops and valuables. The incident occurred in the evening, with the thieves reportedly using a distraction technique to evade the security guard.

CCTV footage captured the entire episode, showcasing the audacity of the criminals. The CCTV footage of the crime shows the thieves in action, with one of them using a device to break the car windows without making a sound. The accomplice is seen distracting the security guard, allowing the thieves to snatch the bags and flee into the crowd. The entire operation took place on a bustling street, with numerous onlookers around.
This is not an isolated incident, with similar thefts reported to have occurred in the same lane before. The incident has raised concerns about safety on Bengaluru's streets, with residents calling for swift action from the police to apprehend the culprits.

Meanwhile, an FIR has been filed at the Indiranagar police station.
