Bengaluru Road Rage Viral Video: Delivery Boy Dies In Vidyaranyapura After Violent Clash Over Minor Accident
In a tragic Bengaluru road rage incident that has left the city reeling, a minor accident between a bike and a car escalated into a deadly altercation in the Vidyaranyapura area on Wednesday night. The incident happened on August 21, around 8 pm. The confrontation, which began over a simple collision, resulted in the death of a delivery boy named Mahesh.
According to police reports, the incident started when Mahesh's bike accidentally touched a car, leading to a heated argument. As the altercation escalated, the car driver pursued the biker. During the chase, the car collided with the motorcycle, resulting in the biker's immediate death. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. Despite the car driver's initial attempt to rush him to the hospital, Mahesh succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The Vidyaranyapura police have arrested two persons, Aravind and Keshav, in connection with the road rage incident. Another individual, Balaji, who was present during the altercation, managed to escape and later filed a complaint with the police. Based on his testimony, a case of murder has been registered against the accused.
In response to the rising number of road rage incidents in Bengaluru, city police have unveiled a new strategy to tackle the issue. The plan involves creating history sheets for individuals who are found guilty of road rage for a second time. Repeat offenders will face imprisonment.
This measure comes as the city experiences a surge in road rage cases. The introduction of history sheets aims to hold repeat offenders accountable and deter future incidents, according to police officials.
