Bengaluru Road Rage: Air Force Wing Commander Assaulted, Wife Abused During Airport Trip

An Indian Air Force officer, Wing Commander Bose, was reportedly assaulted by a group of men in Bengaluru while on his way to the airport with his wife, Squadron Leader Madhumita, who is also an Air Force officer. The incident occurred as they were driving from the DRDO colony in CV Raman Nagar.

In a video shared by the officer, he described how a biker approached their car from behind and started abusing him in Kannada. Upon noticing the DRDO sticker on their vehicle, the biker allegedly made derogatory comments about the couple, including verbal abuse directed at both Wing Commander Bose and his wife. When the officer got out of the car to confront the situation, the assailant struck him with a key on the forehead, causing bleeding.

The officer recounted further aggression, including the assailant throwing a stone at their car, which hit him on the head.

Despite his attempts to highlight the injustice of the attack, more people allegedly joined in to abuse the couple. Thankfully, his wife was able to drive him to the police station, where they filed a complaint. However, the officer expressed disappointment with the lack of response from the authorities.

The situation remains unclear as the police have not yet received an official complaint and are working to identify the details of the incident.

The Indian Air Force has not yet issued a response. Wing Commander Bose also expressed his frustration, mentioning that if law enforcement fails to act, he may resort to retaliation.

However, a new CCTV footage has now surfaced which shows Bose thrashing a man, who could allegedly be the person who attacked him in retaliation.

OneIndia.in could not independently verify the authenticity of the video and it remains unclear as to who instigated the fight.
