Bengaluru Weather: Several Areas Get Heavy Rains, Causing Traffic Jams
Several areas in Bengaluru on Wednesday evening witnessed heavy rains, causing traffic jams.
The Meteorological Department has predicted rains and thunderstorms for the next two days. "Generally cloudy sky. Rain/thundershowers very likely. Mist very likely during early morning hours in some areas. Maximum & Minimum temperatures very likely to be around 28 and 20 Degree Celsius respectively," the weather-monitoring agency said in a statement on Tuesday.
As per the Bengaluru Traffic Police, water logging was reported in areas such as Gnanabharati junction & near the mosque, slow-moving traffic from Ecospace towards Ibbalur, Esteem Mall towards Hebbala service road circle, Veerasandra Junction toll at Electronic City, Veeranna Palya towards KR Puram, Sanjaynagar, Nagawara towards HBR Layout etc.

The weather department has forecast rain and thundershowers very likely to occur at many places over South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over Coastal Karnataka.
"Heavy rain likely to occur at isolated places over Chikkamagaluru & Kodagu districts of South Interior Karnataka," the statement added.
