Bengaluru Rain: City Experiences Yet Another Downpour, Traffic Smooth
Karnataka's Bengaluru experienced yet another episode of rainfall on Wednesday, as the city grappled with stormy weather in its southwest regions.
The heavy rainfall affected a large area of Bengaluru, including the Mysuru Road stretch, Ullalu, Kengeri, Kumbalagodu, RR Nagara, Uttarahalli, Kumaraswamy Layout, BU Campus, Nagarabhavi, Vijayanagara, Turahalli, and Banashankari, as well as their surrounding areas.

The tempestuous weather conditions extended their reach across the city, affecting the southern, southwestern, and central business district (CBD) areas. These areas included iconic neighborhoods such as Lalbagh, Jayanagara, Koramangala, JP Nagara, HSR, Banashankari, Malleshwara, Mysuru Road, Cubbon Park, MG Road, Shivaji Nagara, and BTM, to name a few.

Despite the inclement weather, it's worth noting that traffic was not significantly affected.
According to the weather experts at Skymet, Bengaluru has been blessed with some decent showers over the past couple of days, rejuvenating the city's environment. In the span of just 24 hours, from 8:30 am, the city was drenched with a substantial 66 mm of rainfall.
For Bengaluru, known for its temperate climate, these rains can be considered rather heavy, especially when compared to the preceding day's moderate precipitation of 14 mm. Over the course of October, the city's rainfall tally has already reached 117 mm, with an impressive 80 mm of showers within the last 24 hours.
Weather Forecast
The good news for Bengalureans is that more rains are in the forecast, with the possibility of substantial downpours within the next 24 hours. However, there might be a brief respite on October 12 before the rain gathers momentum once again during the weekend.
