Bengaluru Power Cut: These Areas to Face Outages Till September 29

Residents of Hebbal will face daily power interruptions for two weeks. The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) has announced that from 15 September to 29 September 2025, power supply will be disrupted between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM due to essential maintenance work at the 66/11 KV Sahakaranagar Station.

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has issued an official alert about these outages, urging residents to plan accordingly.

More than 34 locations in Hebbal will be impacted by the scheduled power cuts. The list includes:

Why the Power Cuts?

According to BESCOM, the outages are necessary to complete emergency maintenance and infrastructure upgrades at the Sahakaranagar power station. The planned works are expected to improve electricity distribution and reduce unexpected breakdowns in the future.
