Bengaluru Power Cut on November 4, 6: Check Affected Areas and Timings Here

Residents in several parts of Bengaluru and surrounding districts should prepare for scheduled power outages on November 4 and 6, according to an announcement by the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM). The company stated that the disruptions are necessary to facilitate emergency maintenance and pole relocation work being carried out by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) and the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).

Bengaluru Areas Affected

BESCOM confirmed that parts of North Bengaluru will face temporary power interruptions due to maintenance and upgrade activities at the Kempenahalli substation under the North Division-1.
The affected areas include:

Chikkabanavara

Chikkabanavara Village

Aldamarandoddi

Tammenahalli

Byalakere

Vaderahalli

Kentenahalli

Surrounding villages

These localities will witness outages as technicians carry out transformer servicing, cable replacements, and safety inspections aimed at strengthening the region's power infrastructure.

Tumakuru Region to Face Disruptions Too

In addition to Bengaluru, the Tumakuru region will also experience power interruptions on November 2, 4, and 6 due to infrastructure upgrades under Subdivision-1. Areas such as Belagumba village and layout, Lambani Tanda, Jyothipura, S.S. Layout, Kunduru village and layout, and Venkataadri Layout will be affected.

BESCOM has urged citizens to plan electricity-dependent tasks in advance and to switch off electrical appliances during the outage periods for safety. The company assured that power supply will be restored immediately once the maintenance work concludes.
