Bengaluru Power Cut On June 27: Several Areas to Face No Electricity For 7 Hours, Says BESCOM
Residents of Bengaluru should brace for a power outage on June 27, as the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) plans to cut electricity in several areas. The interruption will last from 10 am to 5 pm, affecting daily routines. BESCOM advises residents to plan accordingly and reach out to their helpline if needed.

Bengaluru Power Cut: Affected Areas
The power cut will impact multiple locations across the city. Areas such as Yelahanka New Town, Vaderahalli near Bellary Road, and Y-Mac Circle are on the list. Other affected places include Nisarga Layout, IVRI, Shrik Apartment, BMS Hostel, and Kashiram Nagar.
Additional areas facing outages include HVV Layout and its surroundings, Anantapur, Puttenahalli, ISRO Layout, LBS Nagar Rajanakunte, Nelakunte, Marasandra, Silver Oak, and nearby regions. Residents in these areas should prepare for the scheduled power cut.
Shocking Incident in Bengaluru
In a disturbing incident in Bengaluru, a nursing student reported being raped by the owner of her paying guest accommodation. The accused, Ravi Teja Reddy, aged 35, was arrested following the victim's complaint. The victim had confessed to stealing three gold rings from another resident before the assault occurred.
The victim is a 21-year-old nursing graduate from Andhra Pradesh who had recently moved into the PG while job hunting. Police investigations confirmed her theft of three gold rings from another inmate at the facility. Following her admission of theft, Reddy allegedly assaulted her sexually.
