Bengaluru Power Cut On June 25: Full List of Areas Affected by 7-Hour Outage
Bengaluru residents should prepare for power cuts on June 25, 2025, as the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced scheduled power supply disruptions across multiple areas. These outages, expected to last from 10 AM to 5 PM, are being conducted due to emergency maintenance work and precautionary measures ahead of heavy rainfall.

Power Cut Areas on June 25 in Bengaluru
According to BESCOM, the following areas will experience a 7-hour power outage on Tuesday:
Halihalli
Margondanahalli
Kalkere Road
Byrathi Village
Kanakashree Layout
KSRTC Bus Stand
Gubbi Cross Road
Kalasanahalli
Puravankara Apartments
Poornaprajna
In addition, Sobha Indraprastha substation will undergo critical maintenance. As a result, Sobha Indraprastha Apartments, Global Mall, and surrounding areas are expected to face temporary power supply issues during the same time frame.
Bengaluru Power Outage on June 24: Affected Areas
A day prior, on June 24, BESCOM and KPTCL will carry out maintenance activities that will affect power supply from 10 AM to 4 PM in several parts of the city. Key affected areas include:
KR Layout, Sharada Nagar, Arehalli, Ittamadu, AGS Layout, TG Layout
Bhuvaneshwari Nagar, Kadirenahalli, Naidu Layout, and surrounding localities
Maruti Layout, Bharat Layout, Doddakallasandra, Agrahara, Vithal Nagar, Yadalam Nagar
Kumaraswamy Layout, Ilayasnagar, Vivekananda Colony, Pragathipura, Sarabande Palya, Pratibha Industrial Area
The ISRO Layout substation and other substations under Vijay Nagar division will undergo repairs, which will lead to scheduled power disruptions.
Additional Areas to Face Power Cuts
Further regions expected to experience electricity outages on either June 24 or 25 include:
- Supreme Leather Garments area, Chandranagar, Kashinagar, Vikramnagar
- Nanjappa Layout, Bikasipura, Teachers Colony, Bendre Nagar
- Miniyaj Nagar, Kanakanagar, Uttarahalli, and Adarsh Apartment complexes
- Residents in these areas are advised to plan accordingly and take necessary precautions.
BESCOM and KPTCL have cited emergency maintenance and monsoon preparedness as key reasons for these scheduled power outages. These activities are crucial to ensure uninterrupted power supply and infrastructure safety during the upcoming rainy season.
