Bengaluru Power Cut On June 1: No Electricity For 7 Hours In These Areas

Bengaluru power cut: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced scheduled power outages across several areas in Bengaluru on June 1, 2025. The outages are due to ongoing underground cable installation work and road widening projects. Residents are advised to plan accordingly to mitigate inconvenience during the power cut periods.

BESCOM Power Cut on June 1 (Sunday):

Gauribidanur:

On June 1, urgent and emergency maintenance work will be carried out at the Hodi 160 MVA power substation. Due to this, there will be a power outage from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Bevinahalli,
Indiranagar,
Chikkamallekere,
Doddamallekere,
Basavanhalli,
Yaragunte, and
Timmanahalli.

Bengaluru power cut on May 31 (Saturday)

In the rural division of Kolar, under the Narasapura branch, power supply will be interrupted on Saturday, May 31, from 8 AM to 5:30 PM in the villages of Kajikallahalli, Kendatti, Arabikottonuru, Chikkaayuru, Chunchudenahalli, Cheluvanhalli, and Nagalapur due to the construction of a new route for the F-24 Nagalapur feeder in Chunchudenahalli village.

BESCOM has urged residents to be prepared for the Bengaluru power cut and to cooperate during the scheduled maintenance work.
