Bengaluru Police Raid Hotel on Vittal Mallya Road: Partygoer Tests Positive for Drugs

Bengaluru police conducted a raid at a prominent hotel on Vittal Mallya Road after receiving a tip about a late-night party.

Although the hotel appeared closed from the outside, officers found around 120 people partying inside. The raid, which began at 2 AM, lasted nearly two hours, with assistance from the anti-drug team to monitor for illegal activity.

Hotels and restaurants in Bengaluru are required by law to close by 1 AM. Establishments that remain open beyond this time can face fines or legal action. During the raid, police suspected some partygoers of drug use. While no drugs were found on the premises, authorities asked attendees to undergo blood tests. A 27-year-old man tested positive for drug use. His blood sample has been sent for further analysis, and he has been issued a notice regarding the violation.
