Bengaluru police arrest gang of chain snatchers, Gold worth 60 Lakh recovered
Bengaluru, Sept 21: IT-city Bengaluru has recently witnessed sudden spurt in incidences of chain snatching. On Wednesday, Sept 16, four cases of chain snatching came to light in span of few hours, thus giving a major challenge to the Bengaluru police.
However, thanks to Bengaluru police swift action that they arrested all accused involved in a gang of chain snatching. Bengaluru police on Monday, Sept 21, recovered gold worth Rs 60 Lakh.

In all cases, bike-borne muggers targeted women. [IT-city turning into chain snatchers' den]
Bengaluru police had suspected that there is an involvement of one Gang in all cases and said that "women are their main and easy target".
