Bengaluru MP Tejasvi Surya Meets Pallavi, Wife of Pahalgam Terror Victim Manjunath, Offers Support to Family
Bengaluru South Member of Parliament and BJP Yuva Morcha National President, Tejasvi Surya, met with Pallavi, the wife of Manjunath, a businessman from Shivamogga, who was tragically killed in the Pahalgam terror attack.
Tejasvi Surya, along with MLA Sunil Sharma, assured the family of all necessary support during this unimaginably difficult time.

Surya shared on social media, stating that arrangements had been made for the family's return to Bengaluru. "Shri Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, is in Srinagar and is also in touch with the families. Alongside Karnataka Minister Shri Santosh S. Lad, we will remain with the family every step of the way - until the mortal remains are brought back with dignity, and the family safely returns to Bengaluru and then to their hometown in Shivamogga."
Madhav Murthy, father-in-law of Manjunath, revealed that Manjunath had taken the family to Jammu and Kashmir on an 8-day package tour to celebrate his son's excellent performance in the second PU exams, where he scored 98%. Murthy explained, "Manjunath is a relative to me, and his son got 98% marks in the second PU exams. That's why he took the family to Jammu and Kashmir."
During the attack, Manjunath's son, who had excelled academically, was with his mother and father at the time of the incident. They were eating panipuri when the terrorists attacked. The attackers reportedly told Pallavi and her son, "Go and tell this to Modiji, it's not good losing anybody in such attacks."
The boy, who was not only a high achiever but also a victim of this brutal attack, is left to cope with the loss of his father. He, along with his mother, will return to Bengaluru as they navigate this heartbreaking time.
Several political leaders, including Shivamogga MP, local MLAs, and RSS members, are working together to bring the mortal remains of Manjunath back to Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Department of Information and Public Relations has shared emergency contact numbers for those affected by the attack.
