A user on X disclosed that they engaged in a conversation with the man, unraveling the underlying intent of this atypical petition. The user recounted, "Interestingly, the gentleman is a committed vegan. Upon inquiring about the motive behind his actions, he argued, 'If consuming chicken is acceptable, why the aversion to consuming dog meat?' After a spirited 30-minute debate, I posed the question, 'Why promote this message if you're a vegan?' To which he responded, 'Would you cease if the sign advocated veganism?' It's indeed quite clever."
"He continues to stand there with the sign," another user posted. A third person chimed in, labeling the situation as "preposterous."
Another individual joined the discourse, questioning, "While I personally abstain from consuming any form of meat, why does the idea of consuming dogs provoke more reaction than other animals? Could someone offer an explanation?"
