Bengaluru Man 'Delivers' Himself To Office Using Porter App As Uber, Ola Bail Out On Him
Bengaluru's notorious traffic and the constant struggle to book cabs via ride-hailing apps are all too familiar to its residents.
However, when faced with long wait times on Uber and Ola, one commuter, Pathik, came up with an unconventional solution-he booked a ride on Porter, an app typically used for transporting goods.

Sharing his experience on social media, Pathik posted a photo of himself riding pillion on a Porter two-wheeler, with the delivery partner in front and the company's branding visible on the helmet.
His caption? A witty take on the situation: "Had to porter myself to office today because no Ola, Uber."
Since it was shared on X, the post has accumulated over 36,000 views.
Reacting to the post, one user said, "Finally, someone did what I had once thought of! Might do as well now XD." Another user wrote, "There was a time when Powerpuff Girls used to save the day, now it's PORTER."
A third user commented, "Uff genius, desperate times need desperate measures." Another individual wrote, "modern problems require modern solutions, huh?"
Bengaluru's tales of traffic continue to entertain.
In another incident, a man stuck on a flyover in Bengaluru was taken aback when he received a message from Rapido checking on his well-being.
In a social media post, he shared the surprising moment, mentioning how the message arrived after his auto rickshaw had been stationary for some time.
