Bengaluru Man Clings to Car's Hood As Driver Speeds Away at Toll Booth
A man was dragged for nearly 50 meters by a car at a toll booth in Bengaluru, Karnataka, following a heated argument over overtaking, officials said.
The incident took place at the Nelamangala highway toll booth and was captured on CCTV. Footage showed an altercation escalating into physical engagement as vehicles approached the toll plaza. The car driver was seen gripping the victim's shirt and accelerating as the toll barrier lifted, dragging him along before he eventually fell to the ground. The car sped away, leaving him behind.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the matter.
In a separate incident, a woman in Bengaluru was caught using her laptop while driving, prompting a strict warning from the city's traffic police.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Traffic North, Bengaluru, shared a video showing the woman balancing her laptop on the steering wheel as she maneuvered through traffic. The police later shared a photo of her being fined for reckless driving.
