Bengaluru: Magical Nest Contest coming soon for your kids!

Bengaluru, Feb 24: Want to get a kids room designed and furnished for free? Magical Nest, an online kids furniture and room decor company (founded by IIT & IIM graduates), has announced a contest that will enable you to precisely do that.

In the city, the demand for kids room and kids furniture is on the rise among urban families. Kids, while growing up, need their own personalised space for their development and that, off late has become a growing concern for parents.

This has been in vogue in western countries for quite sometime and the trend has been increasingly catching up in Indian urban areas as well.

"My kids are growing up and I want to create a space for them complete with a bunk bed, study sets, book-shelves and the right furnishings", said Meena, a mom of two who works at an analytics firm.

"Safety and compliance to quality standards, which are missing in many of the contemporary players are paramount in the case of baby and kids' furniture and we want to create a market leadership in this space. Also, for kids, it's always advisable to buy furniture that either grows with them or can be put to multiple uses as otherwise, the kid can outgrow the furniture", said the company spokesperson while discussing about the contest.

While the organised furniture retail market has been growing at the rate of 10-15%, the kids' furniture segment grew at 40-50% in the same time period.

Rising disposable income amongst urban families and the need for a kid to have a space of his/her own, when both parents are working and away are a couple of reasons that is driving this change.

Magical Nest is running the contest till March 31 and the winner will be declared on April 6th on their Facebook page.
