Bengaluru Horror: Reports Of Serial Killer Slashing Necks In Indiranagar 100-Ft Road Go Viral
A viral post on the social media platform Reddit narrating that two people were attacked with a knife by an unknown person in the same locality in Bengaluru's Indiranagar has left residents concerned, sparking fears of a serial killer on the loose.
A Reddit post by user beerOverWhisky on Sunday stated, "Got a WhatsApp forward about a killer on the loose in Indiranagar. Is it true?"
The comment section was flooded with discussions about the incident. Reddit user and social worker Dushyant Dubey, aka St Broseph, confirmed the incident, stating that a victim's family contacted him for legal assistance. He claimed the attack, involving at least two victims, is first-hand and verified, though not yet reported in the media.

Indiranagar's 100ft Road, a hub of upscale residences and commercial establishments, has increasingly become a a hotspot for safety concerns, with some fearing a serial attacker may be targeting unsuspecting victims.
Several Bengaluru residents have commented on the viral post, highlighting a rise in phone snatching and other petty crimes in the locality.
Details of the Attacks
The nature of the attacks-targeting multiple persons in a single night-has fueled speculation about a serial killer in Indiranagar.
The incidents reportedly occurred post-9 PM on a single night near the KFC signal on 100 Feet Road. The assailant, described as a man in his mid-20s wearing a red T-shirt, white pants, and a black cap, allegedly engaged victims in conversation before slashing their necks and fleeing the scene.
According to First Information Reports (FIRs) accessed by leading English daily, the victims include:
- Two pani puri vendors - allegedly attacked following disputes over payment and the unavailability of food.
- A motorcyclist - reportedly assaulted after the suspect requested a ride.
One of the victims, who survived the attack, is said to be out of danger, while another is also recovering. However, unconfirmed reports suggest there may be additional victims.
Senior police officials have taken note of the incident and urged residents not to panic. "The suspect has been identified and will be arrested soon," a police officer told DH.
Authorities have reportedly registered an FIR at the Indiranagar police station, and investigations are underway.

The attacker appears to be familiar with the area, particularly the bylanes around 100 Feet Road. Community members have been advised to stay vigilant, avoid unnecessary late-night outings, and report any suspicious activity to the police by calling 112.
