Bengaluru Gears Up For Diljit Dosanjh’s Concert: Traffic Warnings And Metro Updates

Popular Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh is set to perform in Bengaluru at the NICE Grounds in Madavara on Friday evening as part of his Dil-Luminati India Tour concert. With thousands expected to attend, Bengaluru Traffic Police have issued warnings about potential traffic congestion in the area.

Traffic authorities have advised attendees to use public transport, as there may be traffic restrictions around the venue. A statement from the Bengaluru Traffic Police noted, "With thousands of people expected for the Dil-Luminati music program, organized by SAREGAMA INDIA LIMITED at the Bangalore International Exhibition Center, Madavara, Tumkur Road, starting at 6:00 PM, heavy traffic is expected on Tumkur Road, especially during the weekend. We encourage the public to use public transport."

In preparation for the large crowd, Bengaluru Police are deploying additional forces at the venue to manage crowd control and prevent stampedes. They have also requested the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to extend metro services until late at night to assist people traveling home after the event.

In response, BMRCL has announced an extension of metro timings for the day, with services running until 12:00 AM, beyond the usual 11:00 PM cutoff. Concertgoers from the east and south parts of the city can take the metro to Nagasandra or Madavara stations.

The Dil-Luminati concert, part of Dosanjh's ten-city India tour, is expected to be a huge hit, especially as fans in Bengaluru have been eagerly awaiting the performance. Event organizers have confirmed that the gates will open at 4:00 PM, with the show set to begin between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM.

Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh has already arrived in Bengaluru and was spotted enjoying Ghee Podi Idlies and Dosas at the popular Rameshwaram Cafe in the city before his performance.
