Bengaluru Fire Accident: Two Workers Charred to Death in Construction Site Blaze
A tragic fire accident at a construction site near Seegehalli Gate resulted in the deaths of two workers on Wednesday. The deceased have been identified as Uday Bhanu, 40, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, and Roshan, 23, from Bihar. The incident has been reported under the jurisdiction of the Madanayakanahalli police station.
The fire broke out in a three-storey building located in the Shivani Green Layout, which is owned by contractor and engineer Satish. Reports indicate that woodwork was in progress, utilising a temporary electrical connection, with thinner and other chemicals stored nearby for polishing the wood. Eyewitness accounts suggest that the fire erupted suddenly while the workers were on-site.

Fortunately, one worker was able to escape the blaze by climbing onto a water tanker and was rescued without injury. Firefighters swiftly responded to the emergency call and managed to extinguish the flames that engulfed the construction area.
Authorities from the Madanayakanahalli police station have visited the site to conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of the fire. Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased workers have been sent for post-mortem examinations at the General Hospital in Nelamangala.
