Bengaluru: Driver Flashes Private Parts At Woman; Company Takes Action Following Viral Post

In a shocking incident, a cab driver sexually harassed a woman in Bengaluru. The incident came to light after she shared her distressing experience on LinkedIn, which rapidly gained widespread attention.

The cab company promptly took measures against the driver involved in the incident, according to a report in NDTV. The incident occurred when the woman took a cab from the BTM 2nd Stage in Bengaluru.

The victim had alleged that she raised objection when the driver took an unfamiliar route but he eventually complied with the map's directions. Shen then decided for an early drop-off and ended her journey before she reached her destination.

As she paid the taxi fare, he flashed his private parts at her that left her "traumatized and appalled." She said, "At that moment, I immediately fled from the driver, seeking solace within the safety of a nearby crowd. Shock and confusion consumed me, making it difficult to collect my thoughts."

In another post, the victim claimed that the taxi company took action against the driver.

She wrote, "I wanted to give an update regarding the incident that occurred yesterday. The Uber team reached out to me and conducted a thorough investigation into the matter to understand both sides of the party involved. I am grateful for their swift response and the intensive efforts they made to address the situation. They have taken the necessary actions against the driver involved."
