On a newly constructed double-decker flyover, Karnataka Minister Ramalinga Reddy said, "In between 2013 and 2015 I was in charge of Bengaluru district...A flyover was sanctioned of Rs 300 crores. Simultaneously, a metro proposal came in the same way...The down ramp has been completed and after police permission, it will be started..."
This double-decker design not only enables signal-free travel but also reduces commute times by more than 30 percent for those heading to HSR Layout and Hosur Road. While the main structure is now operational, the ramps connecting HSR Layout to the flyover towards Ragigudda and BTM Layout are scheduled for completion by June 2025.
