Bengaluru Crime: Woman Kills Daughter, Hangs Herself After Finding Husband's Alleged Affair

In a saddening incident a 34-year-old woman named Shruti allegedly took her own life after killing her four-year-old daughter in Bengaluru's Nagasandra. According to the reports, she hanged her daughter from a ceiling fan before committing suicide. A note left behind indicates that Shruti faced dowry harassment and was troubled by her husband's extramarital affair.

According to India Today, the incident happened on a Sunday evening when Shruti's husband, Gopalakrishna, was not at home. Shruti held the position of president at Pavagada Gram Panchayat. The couple, married since 2014, reportedly had frequent disputes due to Gopalakrishna's affair. The police have charged him with abetment to suicide.

Tragic Incident Involving Odia Rapper

In another case in Bengaluru, a 32-year-old rapper from Odisha died by suicide after ingesting poison in his rented apartment in Kadubeesanahalli on February 9. Known by his stage name "Juggernaut," Abhinav Singh had moved to the city just a week prior and was employed at a private firm.

The police stated that after having dinner with his roommate, Singh went to his room and allegedly consumed poison. No suicide note has been found so far. "We do not yet know what kind of poison he consumed and are awaiting a report from the Forensic Science Laboratory," police said.

Singh's family claims he was harassed by his wife, which they reported to the police in Odisha. This complaint is currently under investigation as authorities seek more information about the circumstances leading to his death.
