A video circulating online shows a couple in Bengaluru riding a scooter with their young son precariously balanced on the footrest, raising concerns about child safety.

The video, posted by an X user (@Lollubee) on Monday night, claims the incident occurred near Graphite India in the Whitefield area. The caption criticizes the parents' actions and tags the city police and traffic police, urging them to take action. It also mentions the vehicle registration number.

The Bengaluru traffic police (@blrcitytraffic) acknowledged the post by tagging the Whitefield traffic police (@wftrps).

While official information from the police is limited, another user (@RCBengaluru) later posted a picture showing the same vehicle and its owner receiving a challan (traffic ticket) from a traffic constable on Tuesday morning. This suggests the Mahadevapura traffic police may have taken action against the parents.
