Bengaluru: Citizens united to eradicate hunger from classrooms

Bengaluru, Feb 8: Around three hundred motor bikes by flamboyant biker clubs moving around the city on Sunday, Feb 7 to support the rally which has a good motive of eradicating hunger from school classrooms.

The hunger rally took off from Akshaya Patra's Hare Krishna Hill kitchen on Chord Road, Rajajinagar, veered through Malleswaram, Race Course Road, Lalbagh Road, Kanakapura up to Vasanthapura kitchen on Kanakapura Road. However, the bikers completed this journey in peaceful manner from Iscon temple to Kanakapura kitchen in 1 hour 40 minutes.

Shridhar Venkat, CEO, Akshaya Patra Foundation said " sole purpose of this rally is to eradicate hunger and illieteracy as classroom hunger is becoming national challenge and with the help of bikers we are trying to make people aware about this cause and will request to help in elevating classroom hunger.
