Bengaluru Bomb Blast: Timer Used To Set Off IED Found At Rameshwaram Cafe
Authorities are intensifying their investigation into bomb blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru's Kundalahalli area, which left 10 persons injured.
Media reports suggest that the individual responsible for triggering the IED at Rameshwaram Cafe used a timer. The device is currently undergoing detailed analysis as part of the ongoing investigation. Additionally, reports indicate that the explosive device used in the incident may have contained a battery and fasteners.

Divya Raghavendra Rao, Co-Founder & Managing Director of Rameshwaram Cafe, shared details with a local news channel, stating that the incident occurred near the customer handwashing area. She expressed her belief that the explosion originated from a bag placed by an external individual.
As per standard procedure, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is expected to visit the site.
Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP) Dr Alok Mohan on Friday informed that the explosion that took place at Rameswaram cafe was indeed a bomb blast. The Karnataka DGP also said that nine people were injured in Bengaluru's Rameshwaram Cafe blast.
Responding to a question about reports that an improvised explosive device (IED) caused the blast, CM Siddaramaiah said samples have been collected and, after verifying them, it would be ascertained and investigations will follow. "There is information of a bag from which the explosion occurred, but we have to get the exact information from the department," he said, adding that he wouldn't like to speculate about the involvement of any organisation or anything.
