Bengaluru Airport Incident Tempo Hits Stationary IndiGo Plane Investigation Underway

Due to engine-related repairs, the IndiGo aircraft had been out of commission for more than two years when the incident occurred. The plane's undercarriage was hit by the tempo traveler, which was apparently dropping off airline employees. IndiGo confirmed that the upper part of the car, including the windscreen and driver's side, was seriously damaged and blamed the occurrence on the driver's carelessness.

"We are aware of the ground incident at Bengaluru airport involving a parked IndiGo aircraft and a third-party ground vehicle," an IndiGo official said. The investigations are still in progress, and any relevant action will be taken.

The tempo traveler has significant windshield damage and a badly dented roof, according to pictures posted on social media. Authorities at the airport stressed that the event is being treated seriously, even though no passengers were hurt or engaged. To find the reason and make sure that similar ground operations errors don't happen again, a thorough study has been started.
